About this notebook
Maple Fog started as a line in a calendar — the day the left-hand maple at the end of our lane came into leaf — and grew, over a year, into this: a small, slow notebook about the ordinary turning of the seasons.
Most entries are about walking: lake shores in the fog, long ridge days, short loops before work. Some are about books, some about coffee, and a few are just a list of small facts I did not want to forget.
There are no ads here, no tracking and no newsletter. The illustrations are drawn by hand, the words are written slowly, and new entries appear when there is something worth writing down — usually most weeks in autumn, less often in summer.
Thank you for reading. — M.
